How Do You Find Joy?

National Day of Joy falls on the last Wednesday of June. Created in 2019 by Comfort Keepers, this holiday focuses on finding everyday moments of joy. Today on the blog we’re going to look at different things you can do to bring more joy to your life.

How Can I Find What Brings Me Joy?

You may be familiar with the term “trigger.” According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, a trigger is “an action or situation that can lead to an adverse emotional reaction.” The opposite of a trigger is a glimmer, which are “micro-moments of joy that make us feel happy, joyful, and safe.” Click here to learn more about glimmers and how to find them.
