Health & Wellness Resources in Washtenaw County

This year National Senior Health and Fitness Day falls on May 28th. It’s the perfect time to focus on your health and well-being, whether you’re a senior or a caregiver looking to support someone in staying active and healthy. Let’s explore some ways to stay active and healthy in our community! 

 

Senior Centers– Many local senior centers offer a variety of fitness classes. These listings are accurate as of writing this post. Call ahead to a senior center before attending a class.  

  • Chelsea Senior Center (734) 475-9242 
    • Gentle Yoga- Mondays 9:30-10:30am (no cost) 
    • Enhance Fitness- Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 9:45-10:45am (Monday classes no cost, other classes $2/class suggested donation)
