Emergency Numbers for Seniors

Could you recite your doctor’s phone number from memory? Who would you call if there was a downed power line in your backyard? When an emergency happens, knowing who to call can make all the difference. For older adults and caregivers, having the right phone numbers close by can help you act quickly and feel more at ease. Although it’s celebrated in Europe and not in the US, National Emergency Number Day (February 11) is a great reminder to review, update, and save important numbers and emergency contacts, so you’re prepared when it matters most. Today’s blog post includes an overview of important emergency numbers, information on how to keep up with emergency updates, and a downloadable emergency contact sheet you can print and put on your fridge!
