March is Oral Health Month! Unfortunately, while many jobs provide health care, oral care can sometimes be trickier to come by. Our teeth are important though and can be the first sign that there could be a bigger issue with our bodies. Today we’re going to look at low-cost dental care for those who are uninsured or under-insured.
Washtenaw County Dental Clinic/My Community Dental Centers

Michigan Dental Association Donated Dental Services
- Who can use it?
- Michigan residents who are 65+, OR have a permanent disability, OR have a chronic health condition.
- Must have income below 200% of federal poverty level
- Cannot have dental insurance

- Who can use it?
- Michigan residents who have dental insurance (see website for full list of insurance accepted)
- This is a good option for those who have a lower income but still carry dental insurance.

- Note: Since the work is done by pre-doctoral students and approved by supervisors, be prepared for appointments to last up to 3 hours. Parking validation is available.
