Where to Find Flu Shots 2025

When we think of fall, many of us think of crisp leaves, colder weather, and maybe even pumpkin-flavored drinks. How many of us are thinking about our flu shots? Cases of the flu usually spike in the fall and winter, which is why there’s a push for flu vaccines. Getting the flu vaccine can lower your chances of getting the flu during “flu season.” Medical professionals suggest getting your flu shot no later than the end of October so you’re fully protected once flu season starts (it can take up to two weeks for your body to be fully protected). Flu shots are especially important for older adults, since adults age 65 and older are more at risk of having serious complications from the fluespecially if they have a condition like heart disease or diabetes. Luckily, the community comes together to make vaccines easy to find! Today’s post will explore different opportunities to get a flu shot and protect yourself this fall.
