By now Covid has become a part of our lives. Masks. Vaccines. Tests. We’ve covered where to find masks on the blog, but where can you find at home Covid tests?  

Free Kits 

  • Ann Arbor District Library (all locations) 
  • Chelsea District Library 
  • Milan Public Library 
  • Northfield Township Area Library 
  • Project ACT- A cooperative effort from The Rockefeller Foundation, state health departments, CareEvolution, iHealth Labs, and Amazon.com. 
  • USPS– order 8 free tests. Only requires name and address.  
  • Ypsilanti District Library (Whittaker location) 

Note: Information about libraries was found via Library Partnership for At-Home Tests. Call your local library before visiting.  


Over the Counter Kits 

Note: Make sure you check this list of approved OTC tests from the FDA. Also make sure to check whether your insurance will cover the cost up front or if you’ll have to be reimbursed.
