Supporting Community Programs

Washtenaw County is fortunate to be home to so many wonderful agencies and programs aimed at helping older adults live the lives they want. The best way to make sure that these programs stay around is to support them. Even little steps can add up! Last year Milan Seniors for Healthy Living received over $1,500 from community members using their Amazon Smile and Kroger Community Rewards links! Read on to learn about the different ways you can support your favorite programs. 

  • Manchester Area Senior Citizens 
  • Financial Donations 
    • Donations can be mailed to: MASCC, Inc. PO Box 31, Manchester, MI 48158  
  • Volunteering  
    • We are also looking for volunteers to be on call to deliver meals if our regular volunteers are unavailable. It takes about an hour and a half to two hours depending on how many meals need to be delivered in the area and the weather conditions. Transportation and a free meal are provided to volunteers. 
  • Saline Area Senior Center 
    • Membership  
    • Space Rental 
    • Volunteering (call the center at 734) 429-9274 for more information 
      • Program speakers 
      • Trip planners/coordinators 
      • Gardening volunteers  
      • Meals on Wheels substitute drivers- call Kathy Adamson at (734) 429-9274. 
    • Wish list/currently in need of: 
      • Disposable face masks 
      • Therapy bands 
      • Black tea & assorted other tea flavors 
      • Tomato cages 
      • Large garden pots (at least 18 inches wide) 

Together we can make sure Washtenaw County is a great place to age!
