Facilitates the distribution of surplus medical resources where they are needed. Includes an Affordable Prescription Program, Medical Supply Service, and Durable Medical Equipment Program.
Affordable Prescription Program available for financially-qualified individuals age 18+. Must have no or insufficient prescription coverage and not be enrolled in Medicaid. Must have referral form from a social service agency or licensed healthcare professional to utilize Medical Supply Service. Must have doctor’s prescription and the ability to pick up medical equipment from the Southfield warehouse to participate in the Durable Medical Equipment Program.
