Safehouse Center

Provides safety, support, legal advocacy, and resources for survivors (male, female, and LGBT) of sexual assault and domestic violence and their children. The staff works with law enforcement and social agencies for long-term planning. The shelter has 19 bedrooms and several common areas including a living room, kitchen/dining area, laundry facilities, and a playroom.

Additional Eligibility Requirements

Must be a survivor of intimate partner or domestic violence to use services. Shelter limited to a 35 day stay.

24-hour helpline. Various Support Groups available including: Women’s Sexual Assault Support Group, LGBTQIA+ Sexual Assault Support Group, Black Women’s Sexual Assault Support Group, Grupo de Apoyo en Español – Esperanza y Empoderamiento, Men’s Sexual Assault Support Group, Womens Domestic Violence Support Group for female identified survivors of intimate partner domestic violence meets Thursdays 6:00 – 7:30 PM.
